How we select and compare local experts

Profiles are built from structured public business data: the professional's own website, public registers, and rating platforms. Professionals can claim their profile and submit corrections — every change is reviewed before publication. Profiles are independent: businesses do not write their own listings.

Every ranking on this site uses one transparent score out of 100, and every ranked list shows a "Why?" breakdown per business:

• Adjusted rating (up to 70 points). Ratings are adjusted toward a neutral prior of 3.8/5 until enough reviews confirm them (about 25 reviews) — a 5.0 from two reviews does not outrank a 4.6 from three hundred.
• Review volume (up to 10 points). More independent references, more confidence.
• Verification (10 points). Awarded when the business identity has been verified.
• Profile completeness (up to 10 points). Website, phone, and photo present.

Reviews are useful, but they are not the whole story. Local region knowledge, language support, and fit with your situation matter just as much for an important purchase — that is why we show the full profile, not only a number.

Some professionals may choose paid profile options. These are always labelled ("Featured profile") and affect visibility only: paid visibility never changes profile information, never adds ranking points, and never influences the Best Score or the "best of" lists.

• Displayed ratings and review counts come from public rating platforms; we do not edit or reorder them.
• We do not accept payment to remove or suppress reviews.
• Professionals can claim their profile to correct factual information; corrections are moderated before publication.
